Hello, all.
Lately, I have been fascinated with the art of Ham Radio and the utilization of Morse Code and voice to communicate with others all over the world. Some have stated that with the arrival of cell phones ham radio is now a dying art. My question is how would a blind individual go about becoming certified and operating these electronic devices successfully? Can we do it independently, and how much would it cost to obtain a receiver. With the Internet, though, is there any real need for a unit?
